GLOSSARY

KEY TERMS

Definitions of core terms used across the Gnodi ecosystem.

GNOD

The native utility and participation asset of the Gnodi Blockchain — powering governance, validator participation, participation incentives, application utility, and community reward systems.

Delphi Node

A community-operated infrastructure node that supports the Gnodi Blockchain. Node operators help secure the network, validate participation, and contribute to governance.

Delphi Application

An interoperable application built on the Gnodi ecosystem using the Gnodi SDK. Delphi Apps can access blockchain data, authenticate participation, validate ecosystem activity, and integrate governance.

DAO

The Gnodi DAO — the decentralized governance body through which the community submits proposals, votes on initiatives, approves upgrades, and shapes ecosystem direction.

Proof-of-Impact

The validation framework used to measure and reward meaningful participation in the Gnodi ecosystem — including infrastructure operation, governance participation, ecosystem development, and community growth.

Council of Guardians

A governance stewardship body responsible for preserving the long-term integrity, sustainability, and operational stability of the ecosystem. Reviews proposals, oversees sustainability, coordinates governance implementation, and oversees treasury stewardship.

Node License

A license that grants a participant the right to acquire and operate a Gnodi Node — supporting decentralization, governance, validation, and ecosystem expansion. Each license type carries proportional governance and participation weight.
